Events
CNI hosts several recurring events throughout the year as well as multiple social events and presentations:
- CNI seminars: these seminars feature a presentation by an internal or an external speaker, and are held biweekly on Tuesdays at 12pm in room 200 Goddard Labs (3710 Hamilton Walk). We organize a post-seminar lunch with each of our visiting speakers - please email Jessica Marcus (jmarcus@upenn) to sign up for a spot.
- CNI +/-: weekly journal club sessions and research seminars, for and by graduate students and postdocs affiliated with CNI. No faculty allowed! Sessions are held on Thursdays 5-6pm in room 427 Goddard Labs, and the organizer is Emily Meyer. Please fill out this form to join the mailing list.
- CNI-BMI journal club: a monthly journal club and research seminar series that brings together students and faculty across departments to discuss advances in brain machine interfaces (BMIs). Meetings on Tuesdays from 4-5pm in Richards 102AB. Organized by Bijan Pesaran and Victoria Subritzky Katz, fill out this form to join the mailing list.
- Auditory journal club: meets weekly on Fridays at 9:15am in Stemmler Hall. Please email Xiaomao Ding (xiaomao @ pennmedicine) to be added to the email list.
If you know of a CNI-related event that isn't listed here, please send us an email and we'll add it to the page. Thank you!
