Events

CNI hosts several recurring events throughout the year as well as multiple social events and presentations:

• CNI seminars: these seminars feature a presentation by an internal or an external speaker, and are held biweekly on Tuesdays at 12pm, typically in Barchi library (140 John Morgan Building). The organizing committee consists of Maria Geffen, Jared Collina, Kara McGaughey, Juvenal Bosulu and Ron diTullio. There is an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to have lunch with the speaker — please email Jessica Marcus (jmarcus@upenn) to sign up for a spot.

• CNI +/-: weekly journal club sessions and research seminars, for and by graduate students and postdocs affiliated with CNI. No faculty allowed!Sessions are held on Thursdays 5-6pm in room 427 Goddard Labs, and the organizer is Emily Meyer. Please fill out this form to join the mailing list. 

• CNI-BCI journal club: a monthly journal club that meets on Fridays at 12pm in Richards 102AB. Organized by Bijan Pesaran and Victoria Subritzky Katz. Please fill out this form to join the mailing list.

• Auditory journal club: meets weekly on Fridays at 9:15am in Stemmler Hall. Please email Xiaomao Ding (xiaomao @ pennmedicine) to be added to the email list.
