The goal of the Computational Approaches to the Neuroscience of Audition and Communication (CANAC) is to train students in experimental neuroscience of auditory and communication systems and in theory and neuronal computation. We welcome students across a broad array of disciplines and graduate groups including psychologists, linguists, engineers, and neuroscientists with an interest in computational neuroscience and audition.
Funding for stipend and tuition for 1-2 years is available to doctoral students at Penn. Applications are limited to US citizens or permanent residents who are not currently supported by other federal training grants.
